Curricular Areas

Classrooms

The school offers large, cheerful, and well-ventilated classrooms infused with natural light. Furniture and storages have been designed to suit children’s needs.

Laboratories

MatriKiran offers a Computer Lab, a Mathematics Lab, an Environmental Science Lab, and a Language Lab for learning, experimentation, and demonstration.

Library

This centrally air-conditioned space houses a large and rich collection of fiction & non-fiction books and periodicals from Indian as well as foreign publishers. There is also a dedicated story telling area to encourage younger students to visit the library and hone their listening, comprehension, and observational skills while enjoying their favourite stories being narrated.

Audio Visual Hall

The audio-visual hall is fitted with equipment that allows students to watch films, make presentations, and use technology for interaction. The room has a capacity to seat at least two sections at a time, which allows children to interact and collaborate with peers of other sections.

Special Needs Centre

It includes rooms for speech therapy, audiometry, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, and rooms where more intensive instructional sessions can be provided to children with special needs.

Co-Curricular Areas

Art & Craft Room

This room is fitted with creatively designed furniture and an abundance of all kinds of materials to motivate the children to experiment, explore, and create.

Clay Modelling Room

Children are delighted to mould clay on potter’s wheel and then see their creations being baked in the kiln in front of their eyes! The table tops are designed in a manner that allows them to knead and mould comfortably.

Music Room

The school offers both traditional and contemporary music forms. Children are given an opportunity to explore all kinds of musical instruments ranging from Piano to Harmonium.

Dance Room

The room is equipped with special flooring and a provision for ballet as well as Indian classical dance forms.

Yoga Room

Yoga becomes a way of life for children at a very young age. They are introduced to yoga in a dedicated area.

Play Field

Sports is an integral part of the curriculum at MatriKiran. The school offers a wide range of sporting activities.

Play Hill

This space houses sand pits, climbing, and balancing activities. It has been specially designed for the children to explore and engage in free play.

Jhoolas

The all time favourite swings area is fitted with rubberised flooring to ensure the safety of children.

Gymnasium

A well-ventilated space, designed for indoor sports activities with special rubberised flooring.

Dining Hall

An essential part of school life is eating wholesome foods that keep both body and mind active. A dining hall conforming to the highest standards of hygiene, serves balanced and nutritious vegetarian lunch to all students and staff members.

Wellness Room

A friendly and well qualified nurse looks after the children in an adequately equipped infirmary.

Transport

The school offers a bus facility to the students of Gurgaon. Students are encouraged to use the school bus as this reduces congestion outside the school and is environment friendly.

Fish Pond

Children love to observe, feed and talk to the fish! Collectively, all areas of the school provide students with the opportunity to develop life skills, deep values, and spirituality.

Uniform Shop

The school uniform can be purchased from the school uniform shop. The timings of the school uniform shop are as follows:

Book Shop

The Book Shop caters to all the text books and note books required by the students across all the classes. The timings of the School book shop are as follows:

Fee Counter
